5.35 PM Nils Binder

“Designers Should
Learn How to Code!”
– Now
What Do We Do with Them

Web designers might have heard the sentence: “This is not possible on the web. You should learn how to code, then you would understand it better.” Nils thinks this has changed. Nowadays, many designers have learned to write some code but their mindset clashes with the way large companies build web applications. In this talk, Nils will show us some of the limitations of CSS frameworks and how a CSS developer with a background in design can help build more resilient and accessible web applications.

6.05 PM Varya Stepanova

Increasing Design System Quality and Adoption by Proper Stakeholder Management

In her talk, Varya will tell about stakeholder management when building and maintaining design systems. Through the whole design system workflow, its team communicates to the people across the whole company: designers and developers, product managers, and business people. Let’s see how we, the design system techies, might make these people happy.
